Climber Story: Oswaldo Zuniga
To start, tell us a little bit about yourself
Hello! My name is Oswaldo Zuniga I love climbing and currently obsessed with chess lol
I’m a passionate climber and content creator who enjoys sharing his knowledge, experiences, adventures on climbing on my YouTube channel rockentry. I started climbing at age 30 and I’m now 37.
How did you start climbing?
My best friend suggested to go “bouldering” I didn’t know what that meant at the time and didn’t understand why we would do such thing.. I never stopped climbing after that day.
I’m so grateful.
What impact has climbing had on your life?
Oh man.. life changing. Climbing has helped me face my obstacles in life and overcome them. It taught me to problem solve both on the wall and off the wall. I would have never imagined how I would have a positive impact on people with my brand rockentry. And my relationship with my love Sophia (@sophiachalks) would have not happened without climbing!
What are some other things you do that you find most fulfilling?
Spending quality time with my loved ones is something I look forward to most.
If you could tell the world one thing, what would it be?
Be kind to yourself.

Is there something you're working on that you'd like to tell our community about? We love a good story.
I'm working on future collaborations for my YouTube channel that I’m excited about, I don’t want to ruin the surprise but things are on the works :)
